Robert Tantular should pay Antaboga customers: LPS

The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) said Wednesday former Bank Century owner Robert Tantular should be held responsible for the losses incurred by customers of Antaboga Delta Securitas, the bank's affiliate.

LPS chairman Firdaus Jaelani said Robert had cheated Antaboga investors by using his authority at Bank Century, Antara reported.

Firdaus said National Police former detective chief Susno Duadji had reported that Robert Tantular took 25 percent of Rp 1.4 trillion collected from Antaboga customers.

Robert then gave another 25 percent of the fund to Anton Tantular and 50 percent to Hartawan Alwi, he added

When Bank Century was taken over by LPS following the government Rp 6.76 trillion (US$716 million) bailout, there was no clause to resolve problems in Antaboga, Firdaus said.
