Snow in northern China disrupts Beijing air travel


A state news agency says more than 80 flights out of Beijing have been delayed or canceled after moderate snowfall blanketed northern China.

The official Xinhua News Agency say 64 flights from the Beijing Capital International Airport had been delayed and another 21 canceled by Sunday morning.

Snow fell on the capital city between Saturday morning and early Sunday. Thirteen bus lines running between the downtown area and the suburbs were canceled, but highways remained open.
