Inquiry Committee Summons Sri Mulyani and JK

If all goes well, former VP Jusuf Kalla and Sri Mulyani, Finance Minister and Committee for Financial Sector Stability (KSSK) chief, are scheduled for a hearing before the Century Bank inquiry committee on January 13, next week. The information came from the schedule released by the inquiry committee secretarial.

Sri Mulyani is scheduled for 10 am, and Kalla in the evening at 7 pm. Aside from them, the KSSK secretary Raden Pardede is also scheduled for the same day, at 3 pm. The inquiry committee will question all three regarding the Rp. 6.7 trillion bailout funding for Century Bank.

On January 12, the inquiry committee schedules to call the former Bank Indonesia governor who is the current VP, Boediono. The former chairman of the Presidential Working Unit to Manage Reform Programs, Marsilam Simanjuntak, is also scheduled for a hearing on January 14. Next week, the inquiry committee will start investigation for the t hird subject: the bailout.

This week, the committee will wrap-up all the testimonies from all witnesses regarding Century Bank's merger and short term liquidity support from Bank Indonesia. Robert Tantular, the former owner of Century Bank is also scheduled for a hearing on Thursday, January 7.
